A MEMO FROM KAROLYN RUBIN, ASSOCIATE at-LARGE MEMBER

Hello Associate Members,

I hope 2006 finds you well both personally and professionally!

Our Spring meeting is around the corner and as always, very excited to see everyone in Alexandria, Virginia.  Our meeting will be held at Hilton Arlington, April 23rd – 25th.  Rooms go fast…so please reserve yours today!

Capitolizing on Transportation Revenue Management will provide a great opportunity well beyond networking amongst our peers and business colleagues.

Associate Member orientation will be held on Sunday, April 23rd between 4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.  This meeting is mandatory for all Associates who are attending the TRMG conference for the first time.  First timers will have an opportunity to pick up all registration materials during the meeting.

The meeting will begin on April 23rd.  We will be sponsoring the Sunday evening reception “After Dark” Monument tour.  The historical tour is quite fascinating as well as scenic.  Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel.  Please go to the website for additional tour details.

Two days of educational sessions will follow and are packed with information on contract pitfalls, benchmarking data, as well as carrying to the Hill issues regarding carrier reclamations and privacy laws.  See the meeting agenda for session details.

Roundtables are being held April 24th.  This is a great opportunity to participate and help grow the TRMG and our industry overall.  Please bring your list of discussion topics so it can be addressed during the meeting.   Remember, the roundtable is an opportunity for all of us to work together!

Back by popular demand is the Beer and Browse networking session on April 24th between 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.  Please note, all Associates will have an area to display information, giveaways and company signage.  Please note that all signage is to be kept to a standard format.  This allows all displays to be uniform and ample table space shared by Associates in attendance.

April 25th we will be stretching our legs and Walking the Hill to meet Congressman and Senators during our House and Senate visits, an experience you will not want to miss!  You will have an opportunity to discuss relative issues that impact and affect the credit and collection industry.  Dress code is business, but bring comfortable walking shoes…trust me on this one.

Last, a special welcome to the National Rail Transportation Credit Group, the National Transportation Credit Group and the National Air Express Cargo Group! These groups will be joining us and please be sure to introduce yourselves and say hello.

Thank you for your support, encouragement and collective efforts during my tenure as Associate at-Large Member.  I really enjoy working with everyone and appreciate the relationships built.

I can be reached 24/7 for any concerns, questions or information you may need.  Please feel free to contact me at anytime.

All my best to you…stay safe during your travels!
